Please join the staff and board of CAPE in celebrating a new $15,000 grant from the Lohengrin Foundation of Chicago, IL, for the 2022-2023 school year. This grant supports CAPE’s direct work with Chicago Public Schools (CPS). The primary goal of this grant is to help students within specific communities get back on track academically.

For over 50 years, the Lohengrin Foundation has invested
in organizations and initiatives that advance racial, social, and economic justice, education, workforce development, the arts, medical research, arts education, humanitarian response, and international development.

President and Founder, Peter Ascoli, states, “We invest in organizations that advance artistic vitality, address systemic social challenges and promote a new generation of leaders and artists in the Chicago region and beyond.”

This is the first gift to CAPE from the Lohengrin Foundation. The Lohengrin Foundation selected CAPE in a competitive selection process because of its proven track record and capacity to implement measurable and impactful interventions designed to help elementary and middle school students (grades 1-8) in Chicago targeted communities.

Please join us in celebrating the Lohengrin Foundation for their generous support!
