El Arte de Hablar con Mi Reflejo Book Reading Event
You’re invited to joins us for a very special book reading event on Friday, May 21st, 2021 from 6:30 pm – 8:30 pm via Zoom.

El Arte de Hablar Con Mi Reflejo is authored by a group of women/community leaders from Little Village, Chicago most of whom are immigrants from Mexico. They have been meeting weekly for the past seven years for arts integration classes facilitated by artist and designer Jessica Mueller, and now with community partner and ecologist, Mara Flores. This long-term program has been made possible through a partnership between Chicago Arts Partnerships in Education (CAPE), Telpochcalli Community Education Project (TCEP), and Telpochcalli Elementary School.
Please join us this Friday for a virtual reading and book discussion to learn about the lives of our Telpochcalli families. The presentation will be in Spanish translated into English via caption.
