CAPE to Seek New 21st Century Community Learning Centers Funding
CAPE’s after-school program currently serves three elementary and three high schools, and is supported by funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), a program of the US Department of Education and the Illinois State Board of Education. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to apply for additional 21st CCLC funding in order to expand our after-school program to serve additional schools and communities, specifically Ashe Elementary in Chatam and Taylor Elementary in East Side.
The application process will progress through the year, but we’ll be sure to update as soon as we know more about the status of our application.
