Dear Friends,

Over the past six months, the CAPE Board and Staff along with input from teachers, artists, and other stakeholders have been working on a new strategic plan for CAPE. Over many hours of discussion and collaboration, we’ve set some new priorities that will lead to more innovation and expanded service to our students. We have set new goals for CAPE with clear eyes — at the front of our minds has been the current shifting sands of public policy. Change is afoot and CAPE must be prepared to respond.

Remaining at the center of our work is our commitment to lift up students with high-quality, sustained learning experiences that will help them grow and thrive into the future. We are unified in our vision that all students deserve an education that prepares them to be the civically-engaged leaders and creative thinkers that success in the 21st century requires. In the coming months, we will unveil some new ideas and ways of working. As always, we invite you to be a part of our mission. In fact, with your support, you are already a key ingredient in our success, and for that we are most grateful.

Sincerely,

Amy Rasmussen
Executive Director
