A Summer in Review: West Chicago Elementary School District 33

This summer, West Chicago’s CAPE teams shared their final projects at the last Community Day at Reed Keppler Park. Teams had tables showcasing their art projects, murals, and even yummy food!

Teacher Fiorella Gomez leads an art project for students at Gary Elementary School. In this image, you can glimpse the classroom mural that each student made from each student’s body outline.

In this image, Ms. Suzan Avila and Ms. Kristin Sherwin guide community members in an art-making workshop while displaying their class’s Community Tree (left).
