Perspective(s): 2023 After School Exhibition April 11 – May 3
This exhibition premiered CAPE’s 2022-2023 SCALE (“Supporting Communities through Arts Learning Environments”) program, and presents the experiences of After School partnerships in Chicago Public Schools, including collaborative artworks by artists, teachers, students, parents, and community members. It also introduces the explorations of research partners at Creativity Labs/University of California Irvine.

This Exhibition features the work of members of West Chicago’s CAPE community classes at Turner Elementary and Leman Middle School. The CAPE partnership of teacher Rosalba Rodriquez and teaching artists Anni Holm, Jessica Mueller and Luzma Fuentes (Paraprofessional at Turner Elementary) are represented.

Accessibility
- There is a free parking lot on site at the west end of the building where the entrance is. There is also free parking on Aberdeen St nearby and metered parking on 35th St. There is free parking available at the Bridgeport Arts Center at 1200 W 35th St, just two blocks west. There is no parking on 35th Street along the gallery side.
- Masks are encouraged, and we will provide some at the space.
- There is a long 300-foot hallway off the elevator on the 6th floor.
- A wheelchair and staff member to transport individuals from the entrance of the building into the space are available at the event and upon request.
