CAPE invites you to Perspective(s) 2024: an exhibition featuring elementary and high school student artworks from CAPE’s after-school programs in Chicago and West Chicago public schools!

On view from April 2nd-25th, from Tuesday-Friday, 11am-4pm at 1010 W 35th Street, Suite 697.

The exhibition celebrates learning through arts integration and collaborations between students, teaching artists, classroom teachers, and school staff at Ashe Elementary, Dyett High School for the Arts, George Washington High School, New Sullivan Elementary, North-Grand High School, Taylor Elementary, Telpochcalli Elementary, and Waters Elementary in Chicago; and Gary Elementary, Leman Elementary, Turner Elementary, and Pioneer Elementary in West Chicago.

Everyone is invited to gather at two Family Days with art, food, and celebration:

  • Saturday, April 13th from 12-3pm celebrating students from Ashe, Taylor, and New Sullivan – RSVP here

Join the Chicago Reach team for a fresh take on our annual holiday party! As a nonprofit partner, CAPE hosts this holiday kickback complete with plenty of festive cheer, cold drinks, good music and great company!

All proceeds from the event will go to CAPE to further their mission of engaging and inspiring Chicago youth by bringing visual, digital and performing arts programs to their classrooms.

Perspective(s): 2023 After School Exhibition April 11 – May 3

This exhibition premiered CAPE’s 2022-2023 SCALE (“Supporting Communities through Arts Learning Environments”) program, and presents the experiences of After School partnerships in Chicago Public Schools, including collaborative artworks by artists, teachers, students, parents, and community members. It also introduces the explorations of research partners at Creativity Labs/University of California Irvine.

West Chicago District 33 (WeGo) Community Class Exhibition at Kindred Coffee

Exhibition hours: M-F 7am-5pm, Sat. 7am-3pm, Sun Closed Location: Kindred Coffee Roasters, 148 W Washington St., West Chicago, IL 60185.
This Exhibition features the work of members of West Chicago’s CAPE community classes at Turner Elementary and Leman Middle School. The CAPE partnership of teacher Rosalba Rodriquez and teaching artists Anni Holm, Jessica Mueller and Luzma Fuentes (Paraprofessional at Turner Elementary) are represented.


Paint & Sip Fundraiser in Logan Square
