CAPE presents two special exhibitions featuring the creativity and diversity of Chicago Public School students!
Performativity is an exhibition that questions “How does documentation illuminate the creative processes and embodiments of students’ performative works?”
Collecting recordings, narratives, and objects from various CAPE performance-based classes, this exhibition shines light on the practices, events, and expressions that constitute performance and how students embody knowledge.
Featuring students from Douglas Taylor Elementary, Turner Elementary (Community Class in West Chicago), William K New Sullivan Elementary, and more schools!
Presented alongside the exhibition Transparencies.
