Bio:
Eseosa Ekiawowo Edebiri is an interdisciplinary artist from the Bay Area, currently based in Chicago, after receiving a BFA from The School of the Art Institute in 2018- a teaching artist, facilitator, and community member, Edebiri has served as a Studio Director for Acre Residency’s Fiber Department since 2021 after attending in 2019. The artist has also received a grant from the Foundation for the Contemporary Arts in 2020 and a micro grant from For the People Artist Collective in 2021.
Artist Statement:
