What difference does CAPE make? Come on an Art Walk and we’ll show you!

Please join us for an Art Walk, where you’ll visit a CAPE school to see our work to in action and learn firsthand how CAPE engages students, inspires teachers, and demonstrates impact all across Chicago!

Click to check out our recent Art Walk at Telpochcalli Elementary!

Art Walks occur at different times and schools around the city, so there’s more than one opportunity to get involved. If you’re interested in attending a future Art Walk, please contact Amy Rasmussen at Amy@capechicago.org !

Our next Art Walk will be:
April 2020, location TBD

A CAPE Art Walk features:

  • A tour of one or more CAPE classrooms where students are hard at work learning and making
  • The opportunity to talk with students and educators about how CAPE shapes their work, lives, and communities
  • CAPE’s Executive Director, Amy Rasmussen, sharing her passion and our plans for the future
  • Other members of the CAPE staff and Board of Directors to share stories and answer questions
  • Light refreshments
  • A promise that you will NOT be asked for a donation as part of the tour. This isn’t a solicitation– we just want to introduce you to our work.
