CAPE to seek new 21st Century Community Learning Centers funding

 In The CAPE Blog

CAPE’s after-school program currently serves five elementary schools with funding from the 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC), a program of the US Department of Education and the Illinois State Board of Education. We’re pleased to have the opportunity to apply for additional 21st CCLC funding in order to expand our after-school program to serve additional schools and communities, specifically Barry Elementary and Howe Elementary in Chicago.  In addition, CAPE will also be applying for 21CCLC funds to support expanded after school programs in the Illinois School District 152 in Harvey, Illinois.

The application will be submitted on or before November 24, 2025, and we will provide an update on the status of our application when information is available.
